I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who
came out and spent some time before our Eucharistic Lord these past three days
during our parish’s Forty Hours devotion.
Thank you to all who participated in any way to make these past several days
special. I especially want to express my
gratitude to Father Dennis Klemash for his thought provoking homilies. As Father Dennis said in tonight’s homily…Pope
John XXIII invited us to open the window, Pope Benedict XVI invited us to open
the door, and Pope Francis encourages us to take it the parking lot. For those who missed it we had a beautiful
procession with the Blessed Sacrament inside the Church and out around the
exterior of the Church back to the adoration chapel. We took Jesus out to the parking lot tonight
and I encourage all of us to take Christ with us from the Church, to the
parking lot and out into the streets to all we meet! Thank you all for making our parish’s Forty
Hours devotion so special!!!
