Prepare for the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

Every week, we gather for Mass and take part in an astounding miracle: the miracle of God giving His very self to us in the Eucharist. However, it can be difficult to fully appreciate this gift we receive.
Presence is a beautiful three-part video series that explores the mystery of God’s love for us expressed in the Eucharist. It will leave you with a true understanding and love for the Mass.

Most Holy Trinity

Every time we make the Sign of the Cross, at the beginning of every prayer, at Mass, when Blessing ourselves, we are invoking and putting ourselves within the Love of the Holy Trinity.
God is a Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is the happiest of families. They are totally united in divine love for each other.
"God is love": We are saying God's very being is love, therefore there must be a Lover, a Beloved, and the Love they share.  A Trinity of Persons.
St Bernard describes it this way: The Father is the Kisser, The Son is the Kissed, and the Holy Spirit is the Kiss they share.
We were made by a power of Love. And our lives are meant to be lived in this love. The Power of this love is demonstrated by the fact that we are all here.
The Trinity’s Love is not selfish or self-centered. Their Love is sacrificial, and therefore Redemptive, and changes lives.

Pentecost Sunday

"Come Holy Spirit, come in my heart.  Sweet Holy Spirit filled with Your Love!
The Holy Spirit is the fire of Love that comes out of my Father and Me. It enters the heart of those who open themselves to receive Our blessings with sincerity.

"Come to me and accept me; and I will put into you through My Spirit a new life which will give you purity and satisfaction and give you the kind of life you have always longed for and never had."
The Holy Spirit has declared to us that we have been given everything that the Father has given to Jesus.  Just as Jesus is the Beloved Son of the Father, we too are the Beloved Sons and Daughters of God and His Favor rests on us.
Each one of us is Precious in God's eyes.  It is a gift given to us out of great Love.  God says, no proof needed - I just love you.  I have been trying to find you more than you have been trying to find me.  I know you need Me, but I want you to know that I need you as well.
I send you My Spirit, so you can know and feel My love and truly Become My Son or Daughter.  Become like Me the Father - Love like Me, Show Mercy like Me, Forgive like Me.
Listen to the voice within you that says: "I have called you by name.  You are mine and I am yours.  You are my Beloved, on you My favors rests."
This unique gift of the Holy Spirit is offered in its fullness to everyone. It is given in proportion to each person’s readiness to receive it.  By the favors it bestows, it is our hope for the future, the light of our minds, and the splendor that illuminates our understanding.
The Holy Spirit is like a fountain that flows
always inside our hearts and our spirits.

7th Sunday of Easter - Jesus Prays for Us!

In the Gospels this week, Jesus is at the last supper, telling us that He wants us to be with Him in Heaven. He is praying to His Father for His disciples and for you and me. It is a most beautiful prayer, full of Jesus’ tender love for all of us.
Take the time to read and reflect upon Jesus' Prayer.

I would like to share with you a part of Jesus’ prayer to His Father - through what I believe would be a Mother’s Heart:

Lifting up her eyes to heaven, she prays: Father, my children are your gift to me. I wish that where I am they also may be with me, that they may see the love that you gave me. Consecrate them in the truth. Your word is truth - Love
As you sent me into the world, so I send them into the world.
May the love with which you loved me be in them and I in them.”
Happy Mother's Day.
